Franchise Seller

Privacy policy

Last updated October 9, 2026

Franchise Seller operates the workspace at https://franchise-seller.com. This policy describes the information the service collects and how that information is used. Questions about this policy can be sent to brandon.schaefer@simplebusinesshelp.com.

Account and workspace information

When you create an account or accept a team invite, we store your name, email address, and a hash of your password, plus your role in the workspace. Workspace owners and admins can invite teammates. Teammates in the same workspace can see the contacts, messages, and deals stored there.

Information you enter about prospects is stored for that workspace. That includes names, email addresses, phone numbers, notes, lead sources, franchise interests, deals, templates, and workflow activity.

Email and text messages

Messages you send or receive through the workspace, including email and SMS content, timestamps, and delivery status, are stored so the contact timeline stays complete. Text messages are sent and received through Twilio on the phone number attached to the workspace. The service processes standard stop and help replies.

Texting uses a prepaid wallet balance for the workspace. We store the balance and the amounts applied to messages. We do not store full payment card numbers.

Google account data

Connecting Gmail or Google Calendar is optional. If you connect a Google account, Franchise Seller requests only the access needed for the feature you turn on:

  • Your Google email address, so we can show which account is connected.
  • Gmail read access, so we can sync messages with contacts in your workspace.
  • Gmail send access, so we can send mail you compose, or that a workflow sends, from the connected mailbox.
  • Google Calendar event and free/busy access, if you connect Calendar, so the workspace can check availability and create a meeting you book.

Franchise Seller’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google user data is used only to provide the user-facing features above. It is not sold. It is not used for advertising. It is not used to train generalized models. Humans do not read it except when you ask for support, when it is necessary to secure the service or investigate abuse, or when the law requires it.

You can disconnect Gmail on the Email page and Google Calendar on the Team page. You can also revoke Franchise Seller from your Google Account permissions at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Disconnecting stops new access. Copies already saved on a contact timeline remain in the workspace until that workspace data is deleted.

Who we share information with

We share information only as needed to run the service:

  • Google, when you connect Gmail or Google Calendar.
  • Twilio, to send and receive text messages for your workspace.
  • Google Cloud, which hosts the application and database.
  • Teammates in your workspace.
  • Authorities when the law requires it.

We do not sell personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep account and workspace information while the workspace is active. Email us at brandon.schaefer@simplebusinesshelp.com to ask for a workspace or account to be deleted. We may retain information the law requires us to keep, such as records of messages already sent.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Passwords are stored as hashes. Each workspace’s records are separated from other customers’ records.
