Terms of service

Franchise Seller is a workspace for franchise sales teams. It stores contacts and deals, sends and receives email and text messages, and can book meetings on a connected Google Calendar. Features can change as the product changes.

You are responsible for your login and for the people you invite into the workspace. Keep the password private and choose a person with the right role. You must provide a real email address you can access.

You are responsible for the email and text messages your workspace sends. You will send messages only to people you have a lawful basis to contact, including any consent required for marketing text messages. You will honor opt-out requests. The service can record consent and process stop and help replies. Using those tools does not shift your legal responsibility onto Franchise Seller.

Do not use the service to send unlawful, deceptive, or harassing messages, or to break the rules of a carrier, Twilio, or Google.

Connecting Gmail or Google Calendar is optional. You can disconnect either one inside the product or from your Google Account. Your use of Google services stays subject to Google’s terms. Franchise Seller accesses Google data only as described in the privacy policy.

SMS uses a prepaid balance on the workspace wallet. The workspace that sends a message is responsible for the cost of that message. If the balance is too low, sending can be blocked until the wallet is funded.

You keep ownership of the contacts, messages, and other content you submit. You grant Franchise Seller permission to host, display, and transmit that content solely to operate the service for your workspace.

The service is provided as available. Email and text delivery depend on Google, Twilio, and the recipient’s carrier, and delivery is not guaranteed. We may suspend a workspace that abuses the service, fails to cover message charges, or creates a security risk. You may stop using the service at any time and may email brandon.schaefer@simplebusinesshelp.com to ask for the workspace to be closed.

The service is a software tool. It is not legal advice about franchising, advertising, or messaging. To the extent the law allows, Franchise Seller is not liable for lost profits, lost messages, or indirect damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability for a claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the three months before the claim.

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. The date at the top will change. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the updated terms.
